RT Brother Lyskey (@0xLyskey)Since Eli’s post in February…1️⃣ DecentralizationDecentralization is moving in the right direction and things are accelerating:- From 160M STRK staked → 465M- Staking v2 went live, introducing Validator Block Attestation; turning validators from passive participants into active contributors- SW and SNF started and executed their first two delegation programs; delegating STRK to the community- Starknet became a Stage 1 Rollup on L2Beat- Starknet also became the first Rollup to mi ...

Industry Perspective on Consortium Chains - The industry views the emergence of consortium chains as a positive development, indicating growth and opportunity [1] - Institutional players are expected to increasingly seek control over their technology stack, which is not surprising [2] Impact of Tempo - The industry anticipates Tempo's launch and potential traction due to the scale of involved players, expecting positive spillover effects [3] - Tempo is not expected to replace existing decentralized solutions like Ethereum [3][4] Decentralization and Scalability - Maintaining true decentralization while achieving global scale capacity is crucial, particularly by leveraging Ethereum [4] - The industry should accelerate development efforts in response to new developments [4]

My post about Tempo today was intentional not just to source some bots to block, but also to get more Tempo content to show up on my feedTwo main takeaways:- a bunch of ppl who “made it” in past cycles either by smart/lucky trading or just “being early” were taking shots at it- a bunch of ppl who actually work in the industry (particularly American-based crypto companies) think it’s really cool/interestingMethinks that one’s opinion on it largely hinge upon whether you are a “decentralization at all costs” ...

The lean Ethereum team has been doing a truly amazing job kicking into gear this year, and delivering on all fronts to ensure Ethereum's long-term scaling, decentralization and resilience.I expect all of these ideas will be ready to kick into gear at roughly the same time as the short-term scaling roadmap delivers on its key milestones.https://t.co/Psv6k7eiUXWill Corcoran (@corcoranwill):Finally, Emile presented a minimal zkVM for lean Ethereum - leanVM.Optimized for XMSS aggregation and recursion. These are good ideas! Most of them are delta-neutral (in the sense of the δ network latency assumption), which is even better. To safely do slot time decreases, the thing we really need more of is better measurement of geographic decentralization and economic viability of non-data-center and non-US/EU nodes. That's the dimension we have to be conservative on.barnabe.eth (@barnabemonnot):Let's bring fast finality asap to @ethereum !We published an update on our related work and projects last Friday, and on thi ...

RT House of ZK (@HouseofZK)Starknet🔹 Tech 🔹@Starknet has released Grinta (v0.14.0), advancing its decentralization goals by introducing three independent sequencers that rotate block production: https://t.co/8xYOYcM0yNAlthough still under @StarkWareLtd’s control, this version distributes validation and lays groundwork for future community governance. Key additions include subsecond pre-confirmations, a peer-to-peer mempool, a fee market with a minimum l2_gas price, and a standardized paymaster interface.Upc ...

RT Andy (@ayyyeandy)🤯🤯🤯According to Matt Huang, Tempo chose to build a L1 instead of an Ethereum L2 because they think a "decentralized validator set is a necessary requirement for partners" to ensure credible neutrality. No mention of other economic reasons, or talk of a new token. He also wrote that they don't want to be dependent on the speed of Ethereum L1 progress.A reminder to everyone out there that crypto is entering its practical era.In light of regulatory clarity and institutional appeal, were movin ...
