I also believe many of these celebrities receive terrible advice at best and are being fully taken advantage of at worst.FWIW I don’t think @Banks tried to scam anyone here, I genuinely think he saw a vision based on his audience, the idea of a community coin and the hype of memecoins at the time.I also think on-boarding someone like Adin Ross if done correctly could have a net positive effect on the space.I think he underestimated how difficult it is to “run” a coin. I think if celebrities who come to the space understand that pretty much under no circumstances should they launch or associate with a coin it’d go a lot better.Almost all altcoins trend to 0, especially vs Bitcoin.They have an extremely short shelf life, no matter how big the celebrity or how viral the meme, they are bound to nuke 90% at some point, and the vast majority never bounce back.Crypto ppl are ruthless victims, no one ever takes accountability for their own, usually terrible, financial decisions. ...
