XVS Functionality and Mechanics - XVS unlocks yield-bearing collateral for users on the @extendedapp platform, allowing users to deposit funds into the vault and use the same capital as yield-bearing collateral for their trading activity [1] - When a user deposits into the vault, they receive the corresponding number of XVS shares into a sub-account [2] - XVS shares earn base vault yield, contribute 75% of their value to account equity, and contribute 25% of their value to balance available for trading [2] - If equity falls below maintenance margin requirements, liquidation starts from XVS, with the vault withdrawing the deposit back to the user [3] - Because XVS contribution is less than 100%, many liquidations stop as users receive USDC from liquidating XVS [3] Future Developments - The platform plans to gradually increase XVS contribution to both equity and available balance to 90% [4] - The platform will launch XVS Extra Yield on top of the base yield, with the APR depending on the user's rank in the Trading League of the points program [4] Risk Management - If XVS is used as collateral, it can be affected by trading losses and liquidation [4] - Users who want their vault deposit to stay independent of trading should keep XVS in a separate sub-account [4]
