Core Viewpoint - The Yunnan Provincial Department of Commerce has issued support measures to promote the high-quality development of the exhibition industry, with a focus on enhancing the convention and exhibition economy in the region [1][2][3] Group 1: Support for New Exhibition Projects - New exhibition projects that align with local industrial development and last for three days or more will receive corresponding support [1] - For exhibitions held in professional venues with an area between 5,000 square meters and 10,000 square meters, a one-time support of 80,000 yuan will be provided; for every additional 1,000 square meters beyond 10,000 square meters, an extra 10,000 yuan will be granted, with a maximum cumulative support of 1 million yuan [1] - In non-professional venues, exhibitions with more than 100 standard booths will receive 300 yuan per booth, with a maximum cumulative support of 200,000 yuan [1] Group 2: Support for Continuing Exhibition Projects - Continuing exhibition projects that last for three days or more and have increased in scale will also receive support [2] - For exhibitions in professional venues with an area of 10,000 square meters or more that have increased in size compared to the previous session, support of 10,000 yuan will be given for every additional 1,000 square meters, with a maximum cumulative support of 500,000 yuan [2] - In non-professional venues, exhibitions with more than 100 standard booths that have increased in booth numbers compared to the previous session will receive 3,000 yuan for every additional 10 booths, with a maximum cumulative support of 300,000 yuan [2] Group 3: Support for Importing Quality Exhibition Projects - The measures strongly support the introduction of international and national-level exhibition projects to Yunnan [3] - For large touring exhibitions that have been held outside for three or more sessions and are introduced for the first time in Yunnan, support will be provided based on exhibition area, with a maximum of 2 million yuan for projects over 100,000 square meters [3] - For projects between 50,000 and 100,000 square meters, support of 80,000 yuan per 10,000 square meters will be provided; for projects between 10,000 and 50,000 square meters, support of 60,000 yuan per 10,000 square meters will be granted [3] Group 4: Additional Support Measures - The measures also provide support for the development of exhibition enterprises, international certification applications, and talent cultivation in the exhibition industry [3] - The measures will be implemented for one year starting from the date of publication, with support applicable to events occurring between January 1, 2025, and May 31, 2026 [3] - The Yunnan Provincial Department of Commerce will adjust and improve the measures based on the execution situation during the trial period [3]
