Group 1 - The Chinese Customs delegation, led by Deputy Director Wu Haiping, visited Brunei and Uzbekistan from June 3 to June 10 [1] - During the visit, the 23rd China-ASEAN Customs Directors Consultation was co-chaired by Wu Haiping and the Acting Director of Brunei Customs and Excise, Muhammad [1] - Discussions focused on cooperation topics such as smart customs, electronic networking of certificates of origin, and capacity building with customs officials from ASEAN member countries [1] Group 2 - Meetings were held with customs, agriculture, and economic departments of both countries, as well as representatives from Vietnam and Thailand, to discuss smart customs, agricultural product trade, and food safety cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative [1] - A protocol for the export of agricultural products to China was signed with Uzbekistan [1] - The delegation conducted on-site research at local petrochemical and agricultural export enterprises, as well as customs supervision sites [1]
