Group 1 - Shenzhen Railway will implement a new train operation schedule starting from July 1, 2025, focusing on summer travel demand and optimizing the operation structure to enhance transportation capacity [1] - Under the new schedule, Shenzhen North Station will operate 1,057 high-speed trains, an increase of 63 trains compared to the previous schedule, while Shenzhen Station will operate 239 passenger trains, an increase of 6 trains [1] - Shenzhen East Station will see a slight decrease in the number of regular trains, operating 58 trains, down by 2 trains [1] Group 2 - To cater to diverse travel needs, Shenzhen North Station will introduce two round-trip high-speed sleeper trains to Taiyuan South Station, marking the first high-speed sleeper service to Taiyuan from the Greater Bay Area [2] - This new service aims to facilitate business exchanges between the two regions, providing a convenient overnight travel option [2] - Shenzhen North Station will also operate high-speed sleeper trains to Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangyuan, enhancing connectivity with major domestic cities [2] Group 3 - Starting July 1, Shenzhen North Station will launch synchronized benchmark trains to Changsha South Station at specific times, improving travel efficiency with a journey time of approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes [3] - The introduction of a circular peak line from Shenzhen North to Shenzhen North will connect major cities in the Guangdong region, offering new short-distance travel options [3] - The route from Shenzhen East to Haikou will be adjusted to Shenzhen East to Sanya, becoming a daily service to enhance tourism travel options [3] Group 4 - The Guangzhou-Shenzhen intercity train service will be further optimized, increasing the number of trains to 193, which is an increase of 14 trains [4] - The number of trains from Shenzhen Station to Guangzhou Station will nearly double from 29 to close to 100, improving convenience for travelers [4] - The operating hours for the intercity trains will be extended, with a new daily departure at 22:32, providing travelers with more flexible options [4]
