Group 1 - The Zhenjiang Dalu General Airport has officially received the General Airport Use License from the Civil Aviation Administration of China, becoming the first general airport in the Yangtze River Basin with both "runway airport" and "water airport" qualifications, marking a significant advancement in its comprehensive service capabilities [1] - The airport is strategically located in the Zhenjiang Economic Development Zone, with convenient transportation and proximity to the Yangtze River and scenic areas, enhancing its operational advantages [1] - The land airport covers an area of 439.7 acres, featuring an 800-meter long and 30-meter wide runway, a 30,000 square meter apron, an 8,000 square meter hangar, and a 3,600 square meter comprehensive building equipped with advanced navigation lighting systems [1] Group 2 - The water airport occupies 57.6 acres, with a 1,400-meter long and 100-meter wide water runway, and a 78-meter wide taxiway, meeting the takeoff and landing requirements for major water aircraft [1] - The upgrade process involved a comprehensive and rigorous verification by a special review team from the East China Civil Aviation Administration, which assessed the airport's operational support capabilities, safety management systems, and new water facilities [1] - Zhenjiang Production and Development Group aims to optimize the "dual-type" operational model, focusing on enhancing the water flight service support system and expanding diverse business operations such as water aircraft takeoff and landing, production test flights, flight training, amphibious aircraft testing, and sightseeing tourism [2]
