The Wangting Power Plant's project is a demonstration project for innovation in gas turbines and a major provincial project with a total investment of nearly 2 billion yuan [1] - The 500MW all-hydrogen cold generator is currently the largest in the world and has achieved international leading performance, overcoming several key technical bottlenecks, thus providing better options and critical support for the development of large-capacity clean gas power generation in China [1] Group 2 - Due to high temperatures in July, the province's electricity demand has reached a historical high of 152 million kilowatts. The Unit 6 will act as a stabilizing force for the grid during peak demand periods, providing essential power supply for summer energy needs [2] - During its trial operation, Unit 6 demonstrated stable performance with all indicators at advanced levels compared to similar units, with an expected annual electricity generation of 1.22 billion kilowatt-hours, sufficient to meet the annual electricity needs of 250,000 households [2] - The plant is currently focused on the construction of the 5th unit, which is a national demonstration project for gas turbine innovation, expected to significantly reduce equipment maintenance costs while achieving autonomous control over core functions such as start-stop and load adjustment [2]
