Group 1 - The Riverside County Board of Supervisors is expected to ratify a two-year agreement worth $1,559,000 for school resource officers in the Temecula Valley Unified School District [1] - The agreement, approved by the TVUSD, will run through June 30, 2027, and includes three and a half full-time sworn deputy SROs from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department [1] Group 2 - The assigned SROs will perform various duties including class presentations on law enforcement issues, patrolling campuses, investigating crimes, maintaining order, counseling students and parents, and serving as liaisons at school sites [2]
