Group 1 - The Italian musical "Divine Comedy" is being performed in Beijing from July 31 to August 3, celebrating the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Italy [1] - The musical aims to infuse contemporary vitality into Dante's classic poem through a blend of various musical styles [1] - The performance features three distinct musical chapters: "Inferno" with a rock style using electric guitar and industrial percussion, "Purgatorio" combining jazz and classical strings, and "Paradiso" concluding with soprano and organ [4] Group 2 - The production incorporates stage machinery and dynamic projections, enhancing the narrative space with interactive elements through sound and lighting changes [7] - Over 200 costumes have been crafted using embroidery, handmade beadwork, and special fabrics, merging medieval elegance with mythical fantasy [7] - Following the Beijing performance, the musical will tour cities including Guangzhou, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Hangzhou [7]
