Core Viewpoint - The "Model Workers and Craftsmen Assist Enterprises" initiative aims to enhance technical services and skill levels in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through the involvement of skilled workers and craftsmen, with a target of addressing numerous technical issues and improving management efficiency [1][2] Group 1: Initiative Overview - The initiative is jointly launched by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, starting from July 17, 2023 [1] - Each year, the program plans to engage 30,000 model workers and craftsmen to assist 20,000 enterprises, aiming to resolve 30,000 technical issues and enhance the skills of 300,000 workers [1] Group 2: Implementation and Impact - The pilot program began in five provinces: Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, and Guangdong, with plans for broader implementation based on pilot experiences [1] - The initiative will be integrated into the "Together to Benefit Enterprises" service action list for small and micro enterprises, expanding its influence [1] Group 3: Digital Empowerment - The program will utilize a combination of online and offline methods, including a dedicated module on the "Workers' Home" APP to facilitate service information and talent matching [2] - Over the past two years, the pilot has seen 47,000 model workers and craftsmen participate, assisting over 29,000 enterprises and resolving 45,000 technical issues, while improving the skills of 631,000 workers [2]
