Celanese, Archer Aviation And Other Big Stocks Moving Lower In Tuesday's Pre-Market Session

U.S. stock futures were slightly lower this morning, with the Dow futures falling around 0.1% on Tuesday. Shares of Celanese Corporation CE fell sharply in pre-market trading after the company reported second- quarter financial results and issued third-quarter adjusted EPS guidance below estimates. Celanese said it sees third-quarter adjusted earnings of $1.10 to $1.40 per share, versus market estimates of $1.73 per share.
