Group 1 - The first "National Science Popularization Month" after the revision of the "Science and Technology Popularization Law of the People's Republic of China" is being held in September 2023, with the theme of enhancing national scientific literacy and solidifying the foundation for a strong science and technology nation [1] - The city of Zhenjiang will organize a series of science popularization activities, including events in Danyang, Jurong, and Yangzhong, focusing on themes such as promoting the spirit of scientists, supporting rural revitalization, and enhancing public health [1] - The city’s responsibility units will conduct various science popularization activities related to technological innovation, scientific education, digital literacy, health, and disaster reduction, among others [1] Group 2 - Zhenjiang has launched its first digital science popularization map, showcasing information about local science popularization venues, including 5 national-level and 11 provincial-level education bases [2] - Eight initiating units of the Zhenjiang science popularization venue community have jointly advocated for resource sharing and collaboration among science popularization venues to enhance the overall experience for citizens [2] - A science popularization explanation competition was held during the main event, with winners from the Zhenjiang Science and Technology Museum and a local university [2]
