Group 1 - Tsinghua University’s research team led by Professor Zhang Qiang has made significant advancements in polymer electrolytes for lithium batteries, providing new ideas and technical support for the development of practical high-safety, high-energy-density solid-state lithium batteries [1] - The team proposed a "rich anion solvation structure" design strategy, successfully developing a new fluorinated polyether electrolyte that enhances solid-state interface physical contact and ionic conductivity, significantly improving lithium battery high-voltage performance and interface stability [1] - A polymer soft-pack battery constructed with this electrolyte achieved an energy density of 604Wh/kg under 1MPa external pressure, surpassing current commercial batteries, and demonstrated excellent safety performance during puncture and thermal tests [1] Group 2 - The research team at Wuhan University, led by Yang Peihua, has made progress in polymer solid-state batteries by developing a new cation-anionic polymer electrolyte, providing new pathways for safe, high-energy-density solid-state battery development [2] - The innovative electrolyte enhances lithium ion migration and conductivity, showcasing excellent electrochemical stability and successfully powering drones [2] - The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other departments have emphasized support for solid-state battery technology in their recent action plans, aiming to foster the development of leading global enterprises in this field by 2027 [2]
