Greenvolt secures 499MWh project in Italy’s battery storage auction

Greenvolt Group, through its subsidiary Greenvolt Power, has emerged among the winners in Italy's 'largest' battery energy storage system (BESS) auction, securing a 15-year indexed tariff for a 499MWh project. The auction, organised by Italy's grid operator TERNA, is part of the Electric Storage Procurement Mechanism (MACSE) initiative.
