Earnings live: JPMorgan, Citi, and other Wall Street banks set to lead off Q3 earnings season

The third quarter earnings season kicks off in earnest on Tuesday when the major Wall Street banks report their quarterly results. Coming into the quarter, analysts expect S&P 500 companies to report an 7.9% jump in earnings per share during the third quarter, according to FactSet data.
