Core Viewpoint - Hainan's Shiyun to Baisha Highway service area has been selected as a national-level zero-carbon pilot project, marking a significant step in the province's green transportation initiatives [2][3] Group 1: Project Overview - The Shiyun to Baisha Highway service area zero-carbon project is themed "Qiongli Green Station" and integrates various technologies such as building energy efficiency, photovoltaic power generation, energy storage systems, waste treatment, and smart energy management [2] - The project aims to create a benchmark zero-carbon service area that combines "zero-carbon energy supply, low-carbon services, and green travel" [2] Group 2: Key Technologies - Four key technologies empower the zero-carbon transformation: 1. Building energy efficiency through passive design for natural ventilation and shading, achieving source reduction of carbon emissions [3] 2. 100% electrification of service area energy equipment, utilizing renewable energy for all power needs, resulting in zero carbon emissions [2] 3. Installation of distributed photovoltaic panels on rooftops and parking canopies, with an expected annual power generation of 1.22 million kWh, fully meeting the service area's electricity demand [2] 4. A digital energy management platform for real-time monitoring of energy usage and carbon emissions, optimizing energy distribution and providing data support for future carbon reduction [3] Group 3: Additional Features - The service area includes electric vehicle charging stations and a flexible energy transfer system to maximize green charging services [3] - Implementation of energy-efficient wastewater treatment and waste classification to create a "low-carbon convenience" service environment [3] - Hainan's investment in green highways, low-carbon service areas, and new energy transportation has been increasing, with multiple service areas undergoing distributed photovoltaic renovations [3]
