How Meta plans to finance construction of its mammoth Louisiana data center
Meta has secured a $27 billion financing partnership with Blue Owl Capital to build its largest data center—the $10 billion Hyperion project in Richland Parish, Reuters writes. Under the agreement, Blue Owl will hold the majority stake while Meta retains about 20% equity. The project will deliver more than 2 gigawatts of computing capacity to power AI systems such as ChatGPT and Google Gemini.
