Group 1 - The core focus is on tackling key technologies related to vacuum tube magnetic levitation transportation systems, standard system research, and the development and testing of critical components [1] - The establishment of the Magnetic Levitation Technology Joint Laboratory aims to enhance China's independent innovation capabilities and core competitiveness in this field [1] - The laboratory is a collaboration among multiple entities, including China Railway 23rd Bureau Group Co., Southwest Jiaotong University, CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., and Hunan Rail Transit Technology Application Research Center, to create a synergistic innovation system [1] Group 2 - Vacuum tube magnetic levitation transportation is recognized as a significant direction for the next generation of ultra-high-speed rail transportation globally, becoming a hotspot for international research and engineering competition [2] - Eleven institutions from nine countries, including the United States, Germany, and Japan, are actively constructing test lines for this technology [2] - In China, six organizations are conducting related research, including the multi-modal coupling rail transit dynamic simulation platform project led by Southwest Jiaotong University, which will feature a 1,600-meter ultra-high-speed elevated vacuum tube magnetic levitation test line [2]
