Group 1: Laboratory Establishment and Objectives - The Tianfu Jinjing Laboratory was inaugurated on November 25 in Panzhihua City, serving as a core technological force to support the high-level development and utilization of the Hongge South Mine [1]. - The laboratory is jointly established by the Panzhihua Municipal Government and Sichuan Natural Resources Investment Group, relying on the Sichuan Vanadium-Titanium Industry Investment Development Co., Ltd. [1]. - The laboratory will focus on four major areas: green intelligent manufacturing of high-end vanadium-titanium raw materials, advanced vanadium-titanium functional materials, advanced vanadium-titanium alloy materials, and digital vanadium-titanium new materials, encompassing 11 research directions [1]. Group 2: Infrastructure and Research Initiatives - Since its establishment in 2023, the laboratory has initiated infrastructure development, scientific research, external cooperation, and talent aggregation [2]. - The infrastructure is planned as "one carrier + two parks + three bases + N centers," with the "one carrier" being a transitional carrier, "two parks" as the permanent laboratory park and offshore innovation park, "three bases" located in Panzhihua Vanadium-Titanium High-tech Zone and Yanbian County, and "N centers" as multiple technology research and development centers established in collaboration with research institutes and leading enterprises [2]. - The laboratory has launched seven basic and applied research projects this year and has partnered with institutions like Changsha Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and MCC Sidian to develop nine pilot and industrialization demonstration projects [2]. - A talent team of over 130 research professionals has been gathered at the laboratory [2].
