(NASDAQ:INTC) on Thursday said it stands by its decision to hire a former senior Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd (NYSE:TSM) executive, two days after the Taiwanese contract chipmaker filed a lawsuit alleging Wei-Jen Lo had leaked trade secrets.
