ABB concludes purchase of Gamesa Electric’s power electronics unit

ABB has finalised its purchase of Gamesa Electric’s power electronics division in Spain from Siemens Gamesa. The move follows the initial announcement made in December last year. The financial details of the transaction have not been made public. For the financial year ending 30 September 2025 (FY25), the acquired business generated annual revenues of around €145m ($168.4m).
