Core Viewpoint - The construction of the Zhangjiagang East Station building project for the Tongsujiayong High-Speed Railway has officially entered a substantial construction phase with the successful drilling of the first engineering pile [1] Group 1: Project Details - The project involves the construction of 760 engineering piles, with all pile foundation work scheduled to be completed within two months [1] - The building area of the Zhangjiagang East Station is approximately 20,000 square meters, which includes a 12,000 square meter underground parking lot and a 1,400 square meter main structure for rail transit [1] - The station design features a dual-layer layout combining elevated and ground-level drop-off and boarding areas, with two floors on the north and south sides and an intermediate layer [1] Group 2: Facilities and Completion Timeline - The first floor will include a square layer with an entrance hall, distribution hall, and waiting room, while the second floor on the south side will house the entrance hall and passenger services, and the north side will also provide passenger services [1] - The Zhangjiagang East Station is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2027, in sync with the Tongsujiayong High-Speed Railway [1] - Upon completion of surrounding municipal infrastructure, an additional 1,738 public parking spaces will be created to effectively meet passenger parking needs [1]
