Dow Rises as Big Players Gain. Most S&P 500 Constituents Are Up.

Many of the Dow and S&P 500 stocks pushed higher shortly after the open, pushing the indexes above the breakeven line.The Dow, popularly known as Wall Street's blue-chip index that tracks stocks of well-known and financially stable companies, was up 0.2%.
