Core Viewpoint - The Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism announced the designation of 15 tourist attractions as national 4A-level tourist sites, including two new additions in Zibo: Yanshen Ancient Town and Yiyuan Niulang Zhinü Scenic Area [1] Group 1: Yanshen Ancient Town - Yanshen Ancient Town is located in the Shantou Street of Zibo's Boshan District, characterized by ancient kiln clusters and themed around ceramic and glass intangible cultural heritage [4] - The town features 13 ancient round kilns, a series of Ming and Qing dynasty buildings, and old factory areas from the 1950s to 1980s, showcasing a rich historical and unique architectural style [4] - The town is equipped with diverse facilities including a resort hotel, boutique homestays, a glass theater, a ceramic art experience center, artist studios, and museums, making it a top-notch tourist destination that integrates sightseeing, educational experiences, business exhibitions, and creative culture [6] Group 2: Yiyuan Niulang Zhinü Scenic Area - Yiyuan Niulang Zhinü Scenic Area is located in Yanyan Town of Zibo's Yiyuan County, covering an area of 5,300 acres with a forest coverage rate of 92%, recognized as a national water scenic area and a provincial scenic spot [8] - The area boasts the largest ancient cedar tree group in Zibo, along with unique landscapes such as the leaf-seed ginkgo and the "One Line Sky" [8] - The Zhinü Cave is a provincial cultural heritage site, and the "Niulang Zhinü Legend" is recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage, with the cave and the Niulang Temple from the Tang and Ming dynasties respectively, creating a cultural wonder known as "the Silver River in the Sky and the Yihe River on Earth," regarded as the source of Chinese love culture [10]
