Core Viewpoint - The Shandong Provincial Government has revised and implemented the "Shandong Province Rehabilitation Assistance Measures for Disabled Children," which aims to systematically and finely regulate rehabilitation assistance for disabled children in the province, effective from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2030 [1] Group 1 - The measures specify rehabilitation assistance for eligible disabled children, including those with visual, auditory, speech, physical, intellectual disabilities, and autism, expanding the scope and improving the precision and level of assistance [1] - A screening and diagnostic mechanism will be established by health departments to ensure all eligible disabled children receive necessary assistance, with real-name dynamic management by disabled persons' federations [1] - The primary goals of rehabilitation for disabled children are to reduce functional impairments, improve functional status, and enhance self-care and social participation abilities [1] Group 2 - For disabled children requiring long-term rehabilitation training, different assistance methods will be applied based on disability type, age, and rehabilitation assessment [2] - For children aged 0-6 with hearing, speech, physical, intellectual disabilities, and autism, centralized rehabilitation training will be provided with an annual subsidy of 20,000 yuan per person [2] - For children aged 7 and above, a combination of "institution + community + family" rehabilitation training will be utilized, with annual subsidies of 5,000 yuan for this method and 15,000 yuan for centralized training [2] - Vision rehabilitation training assistance will be provided for visually impaired children, with an annual subsidy of 6,000 yuan, and the assistance period will not exceed two years [2]
