Group 1 - The first Zhejiang Province Engineer Conference and the promotion meeting for the integration of industry and education for outstanding engineers was held in Hangzhou, focusing on three main themes: transformation of engineering education models, conversion of engineering technology achievements, and cultivation of young engineering talents [1] - The conference was guided by multiple provincial departments and aimed to enhance deep exchanges between industry and academia, share experiences in engineering talent cultivation, and contribute to the construction of a strong education, technology, and talent province in Zhejiang [1] - A joint training alliance for outstanding engineers was established, consisting of 12 universities and 12 organizations, including Alibaba Group and Ningbo Intelligent Machine Tool Research Institute, to collaboratively develop an ecosystem for training outstanding engineers and promote systematic innovation in education reform empowered by artificial intelligence [1] Group 2 - The conference also announced the top ten cases of engineering technology innovation in Zhejiang Province for 2025, which are based on real practices serving the high-quality development of the Zhejiang economy, covering ten fields including materials and chemicals, energy and electricity, biomedicine and health, aviation and marine, and artificial intelligence [2] - The awarded cases highlight the achievements of the engineering sector in Zhejiang in key technology breakthroughs, integration of industry and education, and conversion of results [2]
