Group 1 - The project aims to conduct systematic and standardized sample collection of the "Qilian Yak," a local genetic resource, to obtain high-quality genetic materials and complete phenotypic and environmental background information [2] - A total of 50 blood samples were collected, each assigned a unique identifier to ensure permanent association with individual information, and detailed phenotypic records and multi-angle images were captured [1] - The samples will be safely transported under professional cold chain conditions to the National Livestock Gene Bank for subsequent DNA extraction and genotyping molecular experiments [1] Group 2 - The collected samples and data will lay the foundation for subsequent whole-genome precise identification, excellent gene mining, and the construction of unique molecular identities [2] - The project will provide core driving force for the transformation from "experience breeding" to "precise breeding," helping to protect the genetic diversity of the "Qilian Yak" and enhance the yak breeding industry [2] - The initiative is expected to strengthen the protection of characteristic genetic resources and support the revitalization of the yak industry through solid technological backing [2]
