Group 1 - The Sichuan Salt Source 500 kV substation expansion project has successfully commenced operation, marking the completion of all eight key projects for the Sichuan power grid ahead of the 2025 winter peak [1] - The maximum electricity load for the Sichuan power grid during the 2025 winter peak is projected to be approximately 57 million kilowatts, representing a year-on-year increase of 11.6% [1] - The eight key projects include the construction of approximately 747 kilometers of new transmission lines and an additional substation capacity of 6.38 million kVA, enhancing the clean energy collection capacity by about 1.66 million kilowatts and increasing the power supply capacity of the grid by 2.27 million kilowatts [1] Group 2 - Four 500 kV projects, including the Chengdu East 1000 kV UHV substation and the Salt Source 500 kV substation expansion, have optimized the main grid structure and enhanced the capability for clean energy transmission [1] - Four 220 kV projects, such as the Bazhong Zengkou and Neijiang Yingxiang, further improve the reliability of regional power supply and accurately match the winter electricity demand of different areas [1] - The Salt Source 500 kV substation expansion project added a substation capacity of 2 million kVA, further meeting the development needs of wind and solar power projects in the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture [1]
