Group 2: Specific Project Details - The Chengdu East 1000 kV ultra-high voltage substation and the Yanyuan 500 kV substation expansion are among four 500 kV projects that optimize the main grid structure and enhance the capacity for clean energy delivery [5]. - The Yanyuan 500 kV substation expansion adds 2 million kVA of substation capacity, further meeting the needs for wind and solar power development and surplus electricity delivery in the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture [5].
