Group 1 - The core issue in AI-enabled grassroots healthcare in China includes the disconnection between healthcare services and AI technology, conflicts with existing healthcare information systems, and low-level repetitive construction of vertical models in the medical field [1][2] - The newly established National AI Application Pilot Base in Hefei aims to address these challenges by creating a government-led, state-owned operation and ecosystem co-construction mechanism, which will provide innovative business models for technology implementation [2] - The pilot base will integrate domestic computing power, research, and ecological resources to lower the innovation and application costs of AI in healthcare, thereby enhancing the overall development landscape [2] Group 2 - The pilot base will establish an efficient data flow system, aggregating 5PB of medical data and integrating 34 specialized medical knowledge bases and 42 multimodal datasets to support grassroots healthcare [2] - It will focus on developing five major medical models and create a toolchain for medical applications, aiming to quickly serve industry scenarios [2] - The initiative will target ten grassroots healthcare service scenarios and eleven public health service scenarios, developing intelligent decision support systems for general practitioners and key population health checks to improve grassroots healthcare service capabilities [2]
