Group 1 - The construction of the southern approach bridge of the Chongqi Public-Railway Yangtze River Bridge has been successfully completed with the final two segments of concrete poured [1] - The southern approach bridge is located in Qidong City, Jiangsu Province, featuring two continuous beams that cross Changdao Avenue and the South Chao River, with the upper layer for highways and the lower layer for high-speed and intercity rail lines, each measuring 830.05 meters [3] - The continuous beam over the South Chao River consists of 2-(2-64)m T-shaped beams, with a total length of 256 meters for the intercity side, and the 12th segment being a straight section with a height of 4 meters and a thickness of 0.4 meters for both the top and bottom slabs [5] Group 2 - The completion of the Chongqi Public-Railway Yangtze River Bridge will establish a new rapid transit corridor between the Shanghai, Nanjing, and Hefei metropolitan areas, significantly optimizing the railway network layout along the Yangtze River and supporting the coordinated development of the Yangtze Economic Belt [7]
