Core Viewpoint - The Yangpu Port, a key cargo port in Hainan Free Trade Port, is enhancing its port and shipping infrastructure with the initiation of a 100,000-ton public grain and oil terminal project, which aims to significantly boost cargo handling capacity and attract related industries [1][2] Group 1: Project Details - The project involves the construction of a 100,000-ton public grain and oil terminal berth, designed for an annual throughput of 4.5 million tons, including 4 million tons of grain and 500,000 tons of vegetable oil [1] - The terminal will feature a shoreline length of 316 meters and will utilize a high-pile beam-slab structure, along with two approach bridges to accommodate large grain and oil vessels efficiently [1] - The project is set to complete all pile testing by the Spring Festival of 2026, with the goal of achieving project acceptance by the end of 2026 [1] Group 2: Supporting Infrastructure - In addition to the main terminal, supporting facilities such as road yards, corridors, power supply systems, shore power systems, and fire communication systems will be constructed simultaneously [1] - A production scheduling center will be established to ensure intelligent operations of the terminal [1] Group 3: Economic Impact - Upon completion, the project will create a "front port, middle warehouse, back factory" development model for the port, enhancing cargo transport functions and attracting upstream and downstream industries such as grain and oil processing and trade [2]
