Corn Closes with Losses Despite Export Business

Corn futures closed the Thursday session with contracts down 1 to 2 cents in the front months. The CmdtyView national average Cash Corn price was down 1 ½ cents at $3.82 1/2. USDA reported a couple private export sales of 500,302 MT of corn during the reporting period to unknown destinations, with 260,000 MT during the reporting period for Japan.
