Group 1 - The Cheng-Mei Line's elevated section in Meishan has successfully achieved "bridge connection," marking the completion of the 32-kilometer elevated main line, transitioning to the next phase of track laying and electromechanical installation [2] - The last pre-cast box girder, measuring 30 meters in length and weighing approximately 500 tons, was precisely placed at the junction of the elevated and underground sections, highlighting the challenges of precision control in construction [2] - The construction team implemented strict speed controls during the transportation and installation of the girder, with speeds not exceeding 3 kilometers per hour during transport and 1 meter per minute during the final placement phase, ensuring high precision [2][3] Group 2 - As of now, 11 out of 13 stations along the Cheng-Mei Line have completed their main structures, with 9 tunnel boring machines achieving a total excavation completion of 99% [3] - The pre-casting of box girders is 87% complete, with 75% of the girders already installed, and track laying has reached 35% completion [3] - The shield tunnel section in the Meishan segment has been fully "tunnel connected," and the elevated section has achieved "bridge connection" [3]
