Group 1 - The bridge features a total length of 4.09 kilometers and spans the northern channel of the Yangtze River estuary [7]. - It is designed as a dual-use bridge with a double-layer layout, where the upper layer consists of a two-way six-lane highway with a speed limit of 100 km/h, and the lower layer accommodates a double-track high-speed railway with a speed of 350 km/h and a double-track intercity railway with a speed of 250 km/h [7]. - The bridge is recognized as the world's largest span double-tower double-cable-stayed bridge with ballastless track [7]. Group 2 - The bridge includes 112 cables, with 14 groups of cables (4 cables per group) for both the 3rd and 4th towers, where the maximum length of a single cable is 203 meters and weighs over 36 tons [3]. - The cables are made of 7mm diameter parallel steel wires, arranged in a double cable surface layout horizontally and in a fan shape vertically, with a standard tensile strength of 2100 MPa and a zinc-aluminum alloy coating on the surface [3]. - The concrete deck on the southern side of the bridge has been completed, while the middle span's concrete deck is yet to be installed, with the installation of the southern cantilever steel beam expected to take place on January 23 [5].
