Group 1 - The Kazakh government is implementing measures to attract more foreign tourists, including expanding international flight routes, enhancing promotional efforts, and improving tourism services [1] - The Minister of Transport announced the opening and restoration of 15 international flight routes connecting to various cities in Europe and Asia, as well as the restoration of 9 domestic routes to improve accessibility [1] - The number of tourism products available on major online platforms has increased to over 1,100, a threefold increase compared to 2023, due to improvements in hotel and restaurant services [1] Group 2 - The Prime Minister highlighted existing issues in some tourist areas, such as inadequate internet coverage, unsatisfactory hygiene, weak transportation and support services, lack of medical assistance, and high service prices [2] - A coordination committee for the tourism sector will be established to oversee the rectification of these issues before the summer tourism peak [2] - Kazakhstan aims to receive over 12 million foreign tourists by September 2025 [3]
