Albertsons’ new digital platform will help shoppers plan events

Albertsons Companies Inc. launched Wednesday a digital platform aimed at helping customers plan events such as birthdays, holidays and other gatherings.The platform, called Celebrations, is available through Albertsons’ websites and mobile apps, including Albertsons, Safeway, ACME, Shaw’s, Jewel-Osco, Randalls, Vons and Tom Thumb.
