Group 1 - The Xi'an to Ankang high-speed railway has completed its track laying, transitioning to online construction and testing preparation, laying a solid foundation for future operations [1] - The railway spans 341.49 kilometers of mainline track and 19.62 kilometers of station track, with a switch installation of 78 sets, facing significant challenges due to complex geological structures [1] - The project employs advanced technology for intelligent management and digital control throughout the track laying process, ensuring safety and quality despite the difficult terrain [1] Group 2 - The Xi'an to Ankang high-speed railway is a key component of the national medium- and long-term railway network plan, designed for a speed of 350 kilometers per hour [2] - Once operational, the travel time between Xi'an and Ankang will be reduced from approximately 3 hours to under 1 hour, significantly enhancing connectivity between urban and mountainous regions [2] - The railway is expected to play a crucial role in promoting local economic development by shortening the spatial distance between the Guanzhong Plain urban agglomeration and the southern Shaanxi Qinba Mountains [2]
