Group 1 - The National Market Supervision Administration disclosed that FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan in accordance with the "Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automotive Products" [1] - Starting from February 6, 2026, FAW-Volkswagen will recall a total of 206,012 units of the domestic Audi Q2L produced between August 2, 2018, and January 19, 2025, in batches [1] Group 2 - The recall is due to a potential defect where the structural adhesive used for bonding the outer and inner panels of the C-pillar cover may undergo hydrolysis aging under prolonged high temperature and humidity conditions, leading to a decrease in bonding strength [3] - In extreme cases, the outer panel of the C-pillar cover may separate from the inner panel while driving, posing a safety hazard to other road users [3] - To address the product defect, FAW-Volkswagen will commission authorized Audi dealers to replace the C-pillar cover assembly with improved versions for the vehicles within the recall range at no cost [3]
