Lyten acquires Northvolt’s Swedish battery assets

US battery company Lyten has finalised the purchase of Northvolt’s battery manufacturing and research assets in Sweden and established an industrial hub at the Skellefteå site. The transaction includes Northvolt Ett and Ett Expansion in Skellefteå, along with Northvolt Labs in Västerås, carrying a combined book value of about $5bn.
