Vedanta declared preferred bidder for Karnapodikonda bauxite block in Odisha

Vedanta Limited has been declared the “preferred bidder” for the Karnapodikonda bauxite block in Koraput, Odisha. This follows a competitive e-auction conducted by the Directorate of Mines and Geology, Government of Odisha.A company statement said that, according to the tender document, the block is at the G2 level of exploration and spans 532.747 hectares.
