Expedia to cut 8% of workforce in restructuring effort

Expedia Group on Monday said that it will cut about 1,500 jobs, or roughly 8% of its workforce, as part of its latest restructuring effort. The travel technology company, which aggregates travel fares and allows users to book flights and lodging from its platforms, had about 17,100 employees in over 50 countries at the end of last year.
