Avangrid (AGR) to be Acquired by Iberdrola in an All-Cash Deal

Avangrid Inc. (AGR) announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement with Iberdrola S.A. Per this deal, Iberdrola will acquire the remaining 18.4% of the issued and outstanding shares of common stock of Avangrid, that it does not currently own, for $35.75 per share in an all-cash transaction.In March 2024, Iberdrola made a non-binding cash offer for Avangrid at $34.25 per share.
