FAA proposes fining Boeing over safety violations
Boeing now facing a potential $3.1% million fine for safety violations. The FAA on Friday proposed the penalty for multiple lapses by the aircraft maker. They include the door plug blowout which led to that massive decompression on an Alaska Airlines 737 Max flight back in January of 2024.The agency also identified hundreds of quality system violations at two 737 manufacturing plants.
