Government shutdown looms as both parties stand their ground

Is the federal government going to shut down. It's a question we ask ourselves every few months when the funding deadline comes up, and it's coming up again on September 30th. The Republican le house has already passed a short-term bill to keep the government open, but it was rejected by the Senate where it needs 60 votes to get approved.>> On this vote, the yays are 44, the nays are 48.
