UK, Canada recognize Palestine as an independent state #israel

How significant is it to your mind that you now have the UK, you have Canada, you have France, you have Portugal, other major Western nations moving towards recognizing a Palestinian state. Is it anything beyond just symbolic. I think it is something beyond symbolic because we've had these countries in most countries of the world speaking about a two-state solution for decades yet only recognizing one of the states.And that's a kind of duplicity that that I don't think we should tolerate.
