Politicians always threaten to shut down the government.They create mass hysteria. They cause confusion and chaos.And then they strike a deal and the government continues operating.Sometimes the deal happens at the 11th hour, other times it happens 2-3 days after the shut down.It is all noise though.The government couldn't figure out how to keep themselves shut down even if they were paid to do it. ...
