Families of victims who died in Camp Mystic flooding file lawsuits

Floodwaters claimed the lives of 25 campers and two counselors at Camp Mystic on July 4th, known as Heaven's 27th. Today's lawsuit alleges those deaths were preventable. The suit says, quote, "On July 4th, the camp chose to take no steps to protect its campers and counselors while it knew a storm and life-threatening flash flooding were approaching. Instead, with the river rising, the camp chose to direct its grounds keepers to spend over an hour evacuating camp equipment, not its campers and counselors." T ...
