According to Bloomberg, Tether is hiring two senior HSBC gold traders — Vincent Domien, Global Head of Metals Trading, and Mathew O’Neill, Head of Precious Metals for EMEA — as part of its plan to expand gold reserves and challenge traditional bullion giants. Tether has rapidly grown its precious metals business and is now one of the world’s largest private gold holders.
